Bush Administration Offers More Favors to King Coal


A new proposal by the Bush administration will allow even more destruction to happen in Appalachia from mountaintop removal mining. The "Stream Buffer Zone Rule" doesn't allow mining companies to disturb areas within 100 feet of a stream, but the new proposal exempts mountaintop removal mining.
